The Institute
Miss Mary Milner was a devout churchwoman who worshipped at All Saints Daresbury all of her life. In 1907 she presented the Milner Church Institute to the village of Moore in memory of her Mother and Father.

Milner 50/50 club
The Milner is our community facility and the meeting place for several groups and societies.
It is a self funding organision and thanks to the local support of the 50/50 club draw this is a major fund raiser.
A draw is held each month with prizes awarded at 50% of the money taken in for the draw, this year the prizes are £45 , £25 , £15 .
You can become a member of the 50/50 club by obtaining a ticket for the year for just £12. Forms are available from Moore Village Store.

Information
The Milner is an attractive venue used by local community groups and societies on a regular basis throughout the year for all sorts of recreational events and meetings. In addition, the Village Hall’s very popular and multi-functional function rooms and facilities (which include a fully-fitted kitchen) can be hired by residents and non-residents alike, for everything from Wedding Receptions to Sport clubs and from Children’s Birthday Parties to Corporate Team Meetings.
Main hall size is 27ft by 36ft ,with stage at end 15ft wide by 7 1/2ft depth .aprox 90 chairs with 12 large tables and 2 smaller
There is a car park to the rear of the building for 24 vehicles.
As the Milner is a registered Charity, run by a dedicated committee, whatever money is raised from these events goes straight back into the upkeep and maintenance of the hall.

£11 per hour for more than 10 hours weekly
£16.50 per hour for less than 10 hours weekly
